Born on May 3, 1960, in Ogbaulu, Agatu Local Government of Benue State, Hon. Ogagbolo Baba Peter began his education at Wesley Transfer School, Ogbaulu Agatu, obtaining his First School Leaving Certificate in 1973. He worked as a teacher from 1973 to 1977 before attending Government Teachers College Utonkon, where he earned a Grade 2 Certificate in 1982. He then obtained a B.Sc. in Geography/Education from the University of Jos and later pursued an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (2005–2007).
With over four decades of experience in education, Hon. Ogagbolo held roles such as Lecturer and Head of Department (Education) at Gloryland College of Education (2020–2024) and Facilitator at NTI Obagaji Study Center (1997–2024). In 2024, he was appointed as a member of the Benue State Independent Electoral Commission (BSIEC) by His Excellency Rev. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia.

Hon. Ogagbolo Baba Peter was born on May 3, 1960, in Ogbaulu, Agatu Local Government of Benue State. He demonstrated academic excellence from an early age, attending the prestigious Wesley Transfer School, Ogbaulu Agatu, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in July 1973. His outstanding performance earned him a position as a classroom teacher, where he taught from 1973 to 1977.
Pursuing further education, Hon. Ogagbolo attended Government Teachers College Utonkon, obtaining a Grade 2 certificate in 1982.
